Abstract

A brief introduction to statistical models for complete network data is presented. An example is provided by the collaboration network of Italian scholars on Population Studies. Results show some evidence that higher order model specification is more effective than the Markov random graph model, overcoming the convergence problem of classical Markov formulation.
