Although he usually leans towards the new, Maurizio Bradaschia was seduced neither by deconstructivism, nor the post-organic, neo-electronic or blob poetics which followed. Therefore, his 25-year opus retained a significant coherence and encompasses many exquisite works. One of them is the new headquarters of MIDJ, the company specializing in office furniture in the north-east of Italy, in the Pordenone region. MIDJ’s management put their trust in Maurizio Bradaschia, with whom they had collaborated before, because the company holds an annual competition for new designer talents, and he is one of the judges. Bradaschia proposed a strategy which considered the given volume, but also investigated its own relationship with architecture, with topics of industrial architecture and contemporarity. Iako uvijek teži novom, Maurizio Bradaschia se nije dao zavesti ni dekonstruktivizmom, ni postorganičkim, neoelektroničkim ili blob poetikama koje su uslijedile. Zbog toga je njegov opus tijekom 25 godina djelovanja zadržao značajnu koherenciju, te obuhvaća mnoga kvalitetna ostvarenja. Takvo je i novo sjedište MIDJ-a, industrije specijalizirane za uredski namještaj na sjeveroistoku Italije, u pokrajini Pordenone. Uprava MIDJ-a obratila se s punim povjerenjem Mauriziju Bradaschiju s kojim su već surađivali, jer tvrtka svake godine raspisuje natječaj za nove dizajnerske talente, a on je član žirija. Bradaschia je predložio strategiju koja, uzimajući u obzir zadani volumen, ispituje odnos s arhitekturom, s temama industrijske arhitekture i suvremenosti
