The authors descrive a case concerning the death of an Italian man, in a plane crash within international jurisdiction, which was requested exumation and a positive identification two years after death. The authors achieved a positive identification if the deceased with CT scan, traditional autopsy and DNA analysis, conferming also full compatibility between the lesions found and the dynamic of the event.

Abstract
