To determine its own methodological categories literary theory borrowed their terminology from the other not just humanities sciences. For example Bakhtin’s fundamental question about the relationship between the author and the character has been reduced to a theological category of “kenosis” (K. Clark and M. Holquist). Bakhtin’s “kenotic” relationship between the author and the character is a process of “emptying” of literally Greek lexeme κενωσις (kenosis). In his works, Bakhtin didn’t use lexemes neither “kenosis” nor “emptying”, “empty”. In order to clarify the concept of kenosis in poetological sense we must to “empty” the concept (Whose Kenosis are We Talking about?) and put the question about how it talking about itself while manifests itself as artistic word. In literature frame kenosis talks about itself in different practices of “emptying”.
