The article presents the first results of the research project “Mercato del lavoro per i mediatori linguistici neolaureati: inserimento, prospettive, problematiche” (Università degli Studi di Trieste – Finanziamento di Ateneo per progetti di ricerca scientifica - FRA 2016, 1.1.2017 - 31.12.2018). In explores the socioeconomic and sociolinguistic impact of the transition to a post-Fordist society and labour market with a special focus on the occupability, work opportunities and conditions as well as attitudes of the graduates in language and language mediation.
