This study investigates the possible dampening action of the biceps brachii on the execution of a boxing cross punch directed to a solid elastic target in a population of skilled and unskilled boxeurs. This work uses a surface electromyography sensor paired with an accelerometer inside the impact target to analyze the action of the biceps brachii during the cross punch performance.
