This paper presents a summary of work performed in comparing the electric loads of luxury yachts of different sizes, and how the efficiency of the power generation of these loads compare between a conventional system versus that of an all-electric yacht. The study found that the all-electric plant resulted in a lower Brake Specific Fuel Consumption (BSFC) for both yachts at nearly all operating conditions.

Abstract
This paper presents a summary of work performed in comparing the electric loads of luxury yachts of different sizes, and how the efficiency of the power generation of these loads compare between a conventional system versus that of an all-electric yacht. The study found that the all-electric plant resulted in a lower Brake Specific Fuel Consumption (BSFC) for both yachts at nearly all operating conditions.| File | Dimensione | Formato | |
