The Cell Method (CM) is a numerical method that has been recently introduced. It is being applied in several fields, and its results are more accurate than with those obtainable with other widely used numerical methods. In this paper we shall introduce the CM formulation and show some results in thermoelasticity, plasticity and transient problems that can be regarded as preliminary steps for the modelling and simulation of FWS, which has not been directly addressed yet with CM.

Abstract
The Cell Method (CM) is a numerical method that has been recently introduced. It is being applied in several fields, and its results are more accurate than with those obtainable with other widely used numerical methods. In this paper we shall introduce the CM formulation and show some results in thermoelasticity, plasticity and transient problems that can be regarded as preliminary steps for the modelling and simulation of FWS, which has not been directly addressed yet with CM.Pubblicazioni consigliate
