The surfaces of Zinc, Copper, Iron, Cadmium, Tin, Platinum, Silver and Nickel have been studied under the influence of transient cavitation measuring the difference of potential between electrodes of the same kind placed in distilled water. The ultrasound field changes the physical state of the surfaces of the metals in connection with the different stages of cavitation.
