Proceedings (senza ISBN) del Congresso "5th World Congress of Chemical Engineering", San Diego (CA – USA), 14-18 luglio 1996. - Experimental solubility data for nimesulide in supercritical carbon dioxide and in mixture with cosolvents at different concentrations have been determined. The cosolvents used are: ethanol, isopropanol, and acetone. Experimental technique used is a dynamic one in which the binary mixture (supercritical fluid + cosolvent) flows continuously through the apparatus. Some of the exhisting literature data of solubility of drugs in supercritical fluids and those reported in this work have been correlated with different cubic equations of state.
