Poster presentato all'AIChE Annual Meeting (CD), San Francisco (CA – USA), 16-21 novembre 2003, 219n. - Specific retention volumes and fugacity coefficients at infinite dilution of alkanes, alkenes, aromatics, cycloalkanes, alcohols, ketones, ethers, acetates, nitriles and carbon dioxide on four stationary phases were determined by inverse gas chromatography. The stationary phases employed were hydrophilic vitamins B2, B6 and lipophilic vitamins K1, K3. The investigation was carried out at different temperatures ranging from 353 to 453 K. These results have been used to characterize vitamins in terms of dipolarity/polarizability, hydrogen-bond basicity/ acidity, and lipophilicity by means of the equation of solvation proposed by Abraham. The infinite dilution fugacity coefficients have been used for the prediction of the thermodynamic behavior of vitamin K3 in carbon dioxide at high pressure.
