The results obtained in an experimental research promoted to define the hull lines of a lagoon boat designed to have a reduced wave generation and spreading are presented. It is possible to demonstrate that the choice of a trimaran bow cuts down the divergent wave components and consequently the environmental damages due to the wake-wash. Finally a short description of the new boat design is presented.
