A numerical boundary element method for the evaluation of the steady wave pattern and the wave resistance is applied to the study of hulls of different fullness. In addition, wave pattern and the wave resistance is applied to the study of hulls of different fullness. In addition, wave pattern experimental results with Series 60 (CB = 0.6, 0.7, 0.8) geosims have also been obtained in two different towing tanks. Experimentally derived wave patterns, wave resistance, and wave spectra have been already partially analyzed and compared with theoretical results. Some influence of the block coefficient and of the Froude Number on the scale effect of the wave pattern resistance has been observed. As far as the numerical methods is concerned, it highlights, as expected, better performance for lower CB values. The transverse cut computation of the wave resistance, when compared with pressure integration, generally improves the results, in particular for CB = 0.8.
