An integral calculation of dot products of vectors relative to a system characterized by a particular geometry of helical-toroidal kind is performed. In this Part 1 a detailed description of such geometry and the choice of the parameters that characterize the system are illustrated. The study defines a geometric parametric model to elaborate a subsequent calculation of the efficiency of particular screws characterized by a curvilinear axis currently under conceptual development.
