An iimprovement for the concept design model of fishing vessels is presented. The model is suitable for multicriterial decision makung approach and is aimed at fast displacement hull. The general idea is to increase speed of the Adriatic type fishing vessel from the present 9'11 knots range to 12'16 knots range and to analyze feasiìbility of the vessel.The design analytical moules are composed of subtasks which deal qith problems of hull form, buoyancy, stability, resistance and powering, seakeeping, weight estimating, deck area and hull volume arranegment, building cost estimating, vessel life economy, etc. Preliminary sensitivity tests were performed before including the model into the multiattribute decision making shell.
