Quando a Trieste il teatro della Grande Guerra diventa la guerra nei Theater-Kino-Varietè

During the years of World War I the people in Trieste struggled aganist hunger and disease, but still they didn't give up on entertainment and plays. The Theater-Kino-Varieté became places of entertainment but also of pro-Italian propaganda. The local authorities tried to oppose this situation by imposing German dramatic repertoires. But as a consequence of this, local theatre companies, both prose and music, were formed.
