Abstract
The research of the best layout configuration into urban development and building realization, in which pedestrian flow are the relevant component, is pressing civil engineering and architects to work in strong connection with transport engineers. The increasing demand of pedestrian mobility and transport facilities, due to green energy policy, pursue to considerate transport aspects key element in the choice of the best layout configuration and system efficiency evaluation. A combined analytical/simulative approach was developed in order to reach the above goal. Through analytical macroscopic methods is possible analyze the quality of the movement, in a separate way, in the various elements that make up the infrastructure and so define dimensional range helpful for project development. In complex facilities, these elements interact with each other and it is therefore necessary a broader perspective of analysis. Such a perspective can be provided by micro-simulation, implemented in a lot of specialized software, that starting from the domain of acceptable solution previously identify through analytical approach allow to identify the best layout configuration. This approach was applied at two real case studies, a railway station and a commercial centre. Moreover automatic system for data input acquisition is under development.Pubblicazioni consigliate
