It is the editio princeps of two inscriptions on a marble stele inscribed on both sides, found re-used at the site Isar in ancient Roman province of Macedonia (the archaeological context is described by the Macedonian archaeologist C. Krstevski). The first text is an honorary decree for a local élite member who promoted the construction of an aqueduct; the second text is a letter of Septimius Severus und Caracalla in response to an embassy of the city. It is commented the content of the texts, the Roman names, the identity of the ancient city at Isar, the historical frame in the aftermath of the civil war between Septimius Severus und Pescennius Niger.
