This paper will present teh results obtained by integrating the classical approaches of lean manufacturing throught applying the Theory of Constrains, in particular with teh introduction of Drum-Buffer-Rope, in Engineering to Order production and in hight varaibility of products. The results of the simulations that have been carried out show that there would be a significant improvement, under the same conditions of total lead time, on punctuality of delivery and performance enhancement both for light load regimes and, to a greater extet, on the regimes in overloaded conditions.
