This paper presents a research and training project carried out by a team of teachers at the Department of Humanities of the Trieste University. Starting from the idea that education – for adults as well – should not be driven by the logic of profit, the main intent was to organize a training course in a factory, based on humanistic disciplines. The essay reports some of the results of this experience.
