The human dimension is characterized by being-disclosed, by being-there, which, according to Heidegger’s definition, is disclosed-ness. Co-essential to being-disclosed is technology, which is not to be intended as a simple set of instruments and tools at man’s disposal, nor is it a threat to man’s own existence. Technology is, to some extent, the human itself, it is its own identity, an identity which summons it to a specific type of responsibility.
