In the framework of a PRIN research about territorial cohesion in Italy, this paper presents the results of the analysis conducted by means of the STeMA model for the Region Trentino-Alto Adige. It considers a composite set of variables related to three growth determinants (Smart, Sustainable and Inclusive) and to the funds actually spent (Resources and Fund determinant). Results highlight the effectiveness of the policies planned and being implemented in Trentino-Alto Adige based on European Social Fund (ESF) and European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) of the 2014-2020 Provincial (Trento and Bolzano) Operational Programme.
