Abstract
Between the 19th and 20th centuries, Assicurazioni Generali developed an important activity first in the Ottoman Empire and then in Republican Turkey, by means of a network of agencies present throughout the territory and through the Turkish affiliate Sigorta. With a shrewd strategy of penetration into the Turkish markets, the Generali group managed to compete with the main international insurance groups and, especially after the First World War, with the French insurance companies, overcoming difficult moments such as the economic crisis at the beginning of the 1930s and the Second World War.File in questo prodotto:
