This research investigated how the contemporary far- and extreme right use language to exploite the climate crisis and revive white supremacist environmentalism. The analysis revealed recurring linguistic patterns, which cluster into ecofascist grievances and eco-accelerationist solutions: these link the problem of environmental degradation to recycled conspiracy theories such as ‘global Zionism’ and ‘white extinction’, while white supremacist ‘solutions’ to the climate crisis are constructed through linguistic violence from advocating unlawful deportations to advocating genocide.

Abstract
This research investigated how the contemporary far- and extreme right use language to exploite the climate crisis and revive white supremacist environmentalism. The analysis revealed recurring linguistic patterns, which cluster into ecofascist grievances and eco-accelerationist solutions: these link the problem of environmental degradation to recycled conspiracy theories such as ‘global Zionism’ and ‘white extinction’, while white supremacist ‘solutions’ to the climate crisis are constructed through linguistic violence from advocating unlawful deportations to advocating genocide.Pubblicazioni consigliate
