This paper aims to re-examine two pieces of evidence concerning the 'colometric' layout of Greek melic texts, recently discussed by L.: Prauscello: a scholium to Dionysius Thrax, Ars gramm. 2 (Bekker, AG ii, 751, 30-32 = Goettling 1822, 59, 24-28), and two papyri transmitting Pindar, Paean vi, P. The first witness contributes new information to the connection between the aforesaid layout and the melic performance, while the two papyri clearly show colometric variations between each other , that might lead back to their 'performative' occasions, that might lead back to their 'performative' occasions.
