Malignant mesenchymal tumours of the spermatic cord are rare and in 1.6% of all cases a malignant fibrous histiocytoma is present. To our knowledge only 10 cases have been published to date. We report 2 new cases of malignant fibrous histiocytoma of the spermatic cord. Both patients (70 and 74 years old) had a painful tumour in the right inguinal region and underwent surgery i.e. tumour excision and unilateral radical orchiectomy. Eight months later one patient showed a local recurrence as well as a distant metastasis in the thoracic wall.

Abstract
Malignant mesenchymal tumours of the spermatic cord are rare and in 1.6% of all cases a malignant fibrous histiocytoma is present. To our knowledge only 10 cases have been published to date. We report 2 new cases of malignant fibrous histiocytoma of the spermatic cord. Both patients (70 and 74 years old) had a painful tumour in the right inguinal region and underwent surgery i.e. tumour excision and unilateral radical orchiectomy.
