The analytical expressions used to compute the partial derivatives of phase and group velocity of Rayleigh waves with respect to the P. and S- wave velocity and the density are derived and the related computer code is developed. The results of the analytical computations were satisfactorily tested against numerically determined values. Several examples of partial derivatives for a given structural model are presented.
