But in immuno-compromised old patients recurrenf herpes simplex infection can be a chronic destructive process. Acyclovir in association with timopentine has been studied in treatment of recurrent infections. - ln pazienti anziani, per la senescenza del sistema immunitario, possono comparire lesioni orali erpetiche recidivanti che causano notevole sofferenzo per il malato. ln questi casi i mígliori risultati terapeutici sono statí ottenuti associando l'acyclovir con lo timopentina.
