This essay considers the constitution of the subjectivity in its apparently oxymoronic relation with the notion of absolute. But subject and absoluteness are in fact correlative: the dependance marks the subject, inasmuch it is already always put from an other, while the absoluteness means identity. The search and the self achievement are realized in the incarnation’s state, i. e. in the sensitive body. The embodied subject comes to absolute authenticity of the own self, discovering the distance and the non immediate connection with itself. The ancient myths of Adam and of Narciss and the difference between “I” and “Self” introduce to the analysis of the ecstasy considered as ontological and original constitution of the human subject.
