Logiche della violenza politica nei dopoguerra del Novecento nell’Adriatico orientale: una ricognizione preliminare

The Upper Adriatic Borderlands are an excellent case of study for analyzing the phenomenaof mass political violence in the 20 century in the post-World War transition. The article offers an overview of the main historigraphial interpretations on the topic. Special attention is devoted to frame the crisis in their respective contests, to overcome the schemes of national historiographies, to relate elements of continuity and novelty among the various seasons of violence, and to shel light on the bonds between violence of the institutions and violence from below
