Bibliografia di Giovanni Miccoli 1953-2017

This contribution provides the exhaustive bibliography of the Italian historian Giovanni Miccoli, dead the last March 28, 2017. Born in Trieste in 1933, the young G.M. studied at Pisa, in the prestigious Scuola Normale Superiore, under the guide of philologists and medievalists as Bertolini, Campana, Frugoni. He continued his historical growth with D. Cantimori e G. Vinay, until the gain of the chair in Medieval History (1967), later changed in Church History. During the following 50 years G.M. became one of the most relevant European scholars in Religious History, with particular attention for themes as Gregorian reform, Franciscan studies, Catholic antisemitism, Contemporary papacy. The Bibliography, over 400 titles, concerns writings both historiographical and of public debate on political and cultural issues of the period, even if the greatest space is reserved to historical contributions and methodological considerations.
