Numismatic Analysis of the Coins from the Archaeological Surveys at Mount Nebo-Siyâgha (2012–2014)

In the excavations of the church on Mount Nebo that took place in 2012–2014, 25 coins were found in different stratigraphic layers of the nave, the presbitery and the synthronon. The aim of this article is the scientific publication of the coins according to the rules of numismatics. The contribution significantly complements the current state of research in the Memorial of Moses. Numismatische Analyse der Münzen aus den archäologischen Untersuchungen am Berg Nebo-Siyâgha (2012–2014). Bei den Ausgrabungen der Kirche am Berg Nebo, die 2012–2014 stattfanden, wurden 25 Münzen in verschiedenen stratigraphischen Schichten des Kirchenschiffs, des Presbiteriums und des Synthronons gefunden. Ziel dieses Artikels ist die wissenschaftliche Veröffentlichung der Münzen nach den Regeln der Numismatik. Der Beitrag ergänzt den aktuellen Forschungsstand zum Mose-Denk-mal erheblich.
