The paper presents some research data about the project Widespread educational ecosystem: innovative and connective networks between schools and the city aimed at defining an educational ecosystem between school and city. According to this idea public city spaces become “decentralised classrooms”, supporting social cohesion and intergenerational connections. This vision requires establishing a connective perspective between different stakeholders (schools, town planners, architects, universities, municipalities) in order to generate new learning landscapes.
