Development of Novel Catalytic and Photocatalytic Reactions Towards the Production of Valuable Organic Molecules

This article offers an overview of our recent contributions to the fields of organic synthesis and catalysis. More specifically, our group has been actively working in the following research areas: 1) use of aromatic compounds as photocatalysts; 2) exploitation of carbon dots as nano-organocatalytic systems; 3) utilization of carbon nitrides and 2D materials in organic catalysis.
