The chapter presents a systematic literature review of organisational measures addressing gender-based violence against women (GBV), exploring their role in advancing gender equality. By offering an overview of existing international norms against GBV and drawing from feminist institutionalism, the chapter identifies five key categories of measures against GBV: policy and regulatory measures, training and capacity building, communication and awareness strategies, structural and organisational arrangements, and support services with community engagement. The findings stress the relevance of measures against GBV in addressing formal and informal norms towards more gender equal organisations and societies. The chapter also develops a two-dimensional framework categorising organisational measures against GBV by their level (from individual to political-institutional) and function (remedial, preventive, transformative). It concludes by proposing practical and theoretical implications for scholars and stakeholders to enable the transition towards gender equal societies and organisations.

Abstract
It concludes by proposing practical and theoretical implications for scholars and stakeholders to enable the transition towards gender equal societies and organisations.Pubblicazioni consigliate
