GEOGRAFIE URBANE TRA CONFLITTUALITÀ E “COO PERAZIONE”: IL CASO DI TRIESTE

Urban geographies between conflict and cooperation: the case of Trieste. – Nowadays Trieste shows many daily scenarios of hybrid spaces of conflict and cooperation among different social players. Institutions are weak and not well equipped in facing these new challenges, concerning the modern urban geopolitics. Aim of this paper is to introduce some of these examples, strictly interwoven with each other, trying to identify and to understand some general contemporary trends in urban geopolitical dynamics, to be helpful in order to improve and to enhance sustainable urban management and policies.
