The clinical diagnosis of Herpes Zoster (HZ) is straightforward in most cases, with a well-defined set of signs and symptoms. However, as our group has recently reported, dermoscopy can serve as a valuable diagnostic tool in certain cases, particularly in early-onset, paucisymptomatic lesions or in patients with darker skin tones [1]. Furthermore, this technique may facilitate the detection of atypical presentations. In this regard, we report the case of a rare and atypical presentation of disseminated and asymptomatic HZ in an immunocompromised patient.

Abstract
The clinical diagnosis of Herpes Zoster (HZ) is straightforward in most cases, with a well-defined set of signs and symptoms. However, as our group has recently reported, dermoscopy can serve as a valuable diagnostic tool in certain cases, particularly in early-onset, paucisymptomatic lesions or in patients with darker skin tones [1]. Furthermore, this technique may facilitate the detection of atypical presentations. In this regard, we report the case of a rare and atypical presentation of disseminated and asymptomatic HZ in an immunocompromised patient.Pubblicazioni consigliate
