Appunti su alcune voci turche raccolte dall’Atlante Linguistico Mediterraneo (parte I: concetti 7-113)

This article is the first in a series dedicated to turkish maritime vocabulary found in the AlM data, material that was collected between 1958 and 1965 by one of the greatest turkish dialectologists of the last century, Ahmet caferoğlu (1899-1975). Obviously, i have focused my attention only on those entries that i found particularly interesting, either because they are rarely (or never) documented elsewhere, because of their etymology (e.g. the greek and Arabic oral influences are noteworthy), or because of other characteristics that i will illustrate under the various headwords.
