We believe, however, that studying the FH of very early-onset CD may provide significant help to clarify the role of the genetic component in the onset of CD. In our opinion the power of genetic studies increases when focusing on children, as they show higher gene dosage effects and fewer environmental influences.

We believe, however, that studying the FH of very early-onset CD may provide significant help to clarify the role of the genetic component in the onset of CD. In our opinion the power of genetic studies increases when focusing on children, as they show higher gene dosage effects and fewer environmental influences.
