English The subject of the article is the poetic use of the future perfect tense in Celan’s late work. The linguistic and stylistic analysis will first show how the motifs of hope, utopia and the dialogue with the ghosts of the past in Celan’s work up to Atemwende are conjugated in the present, imperative and simple future tenses. After this introductory part, the article will examine how in Celan’s late work an already decided future time—which eludes the intentions of the poet and appears to him as an object of melancholy contemplation or prophetic vision—is viewed and said through the use of the future perfect.

Abstract
English The subject of the article is the poetic use of the future perfect tense in Celan’s late work. The linguistic and stylistic analysis will first show how the motifs of hope, utopia and the dialogue with the ghosts of the past in Celan’s work up to Atemwende are conjugated in the present, imperative and simple future tenses. After this introductory part, the article will examine how in Celan’s late work an already decided future time—which eludes the intentions of the poet and appears to him as an object of melancholy contemplation or prophetic vision—is viewed and said through the use of the future perfect.File in questo prodotto:
