Sul significato evidenziale del Futur II nella letteratura drammatica di Goethe e Schiller

Abstract: L’oggetto del saggio è l’uso particolare, raro e riconducibile alla categoria linguistica dell’evidenzialità del tempo verbale Futur II nella letteratura drammatica di Goethe e Schiller. La funzione evidenziale è la capacità di una lingua di segnalare la fonte dell’informazione e cioè il modo in cui il locutore è venuto a conoscenza del contenuto proposizionale dell’enunciato. Nel caso del Futur II, la proprietà evidenziale emergerà nel tentativo di determinare con più precisione il valore di compiutezza di questa forma verbale, separandola dalla valenze epistemiche da un lato e da quelle temporali di anteriorità dall’altro. Data la scarsità di studi specifici sul Futur II alcuni capitoli sulla formazione e sulla grammatica di questo tempo verbale anticiperanno l’ermeneutica dell’evidenzialità nei testi letterari. Abstract: The subject of the essay is the particular and rare use, traceable to the linguistic category of evidentiality, of the verbal tense Futur II in the Dramas of Goethe and Schiller. Evidentiality is a linguistic category whose primary meaning is source of information, that is, the way in which the speaker became aware of the propositional content of the sentence. In the case of Futur II, the evidential property will emerge in an attempt to determine more accurately the perfectivity value of this verbal form, separating it from the epistemic values on the one hand and from the temporal ones (anteriority) on the other. Given the scarcity of specific studies on Futur II, some chapters on the formation and grammar of this verbal tense will anticipate the hermeneutics of evidentiality in literary texts.
