Considering the body in its multiple being is the approach adopted in the SENSHome research project, aimed at studying an integrated furniture-technology system that can increase the level of safety and usability of homes for autistic adults. The abundance of human variability and technological availability have come to mean a wealth of diversity upon which to build an architectural project that can depart from the normal/abnormal dichotomy and develop alternative solutions that guarantee a full realization for each individual.
