The concept of slowness has undergone some changes over time. In the context of school and education, slowness is mainly associated with those who cannot keep up with the pace of learning, who need to be accompa- nied. There are numerous thinkers and critics who, from different per- spectives, invite us to reconsider the paradigm of slowness. The paper deals focuses on a slow approach in education, which, hopefully, will lay the foundations for a thorough pedagogical analysis as a way of thinking and designing teaching activities in other forms and with other highlights such as care and meaning
